About Sedro-Woolley

Thanks to our passion for innovation, excellence and education, Sedro-Woolley has been a leader in world-changing technology for more than a century. With global companies such as the Skagit Corporation, Snelson and Janicki Industries, Sedro-Woolley is home to the world's leaders in composites and other innovations.

Today, Sedro-Woolley’s STEM Economy can be seen in our businesses, health care industry, family farms, wineries, environmental service companies and in the IT jobs across the public and private sectors.

Sedro-Woolley is also on the leading edge of sanitation technology, thanks to Janicki Bioenergy’s OmniProcessor.

The STEM planning process coincides with the redevelopment of the Northern State campus as a Sedro-Woolley Innovation For Tomorrow (SWIFT Center). The Center’s first tenant is expected to be Janicki Bioenergy. It is anticipated that hundreds of STEM jobs could be located at the Center in the next five years.

Thanks to our commitment to educational excellence and preparing our children for exciting careers in innovation, the future of Sedro-Woolley is even brighter.
